Job title: Inventory Officer
This role supports the inventory accounting process by generating and analysing inventory reports, monitoring raw material and production costs, and assisting with cost accounting and variance analysis.
Job Purpose:
- Assist the inventory accounting process by regularly generating and analysing inventory reports and monitoring cost of raw materials and production.
- Be responsible for the company’s cost accounting, cost of sales analysis, product costing and variance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Review all inventory purchase orders and invoices for accuracy before invoicing and payments.
- Minimize inventory losses by controlling unacceptable leakages, pilferages and nonchalant attitudes of Warehouse staff leading to loss of inventory and theft.
