Intake Technician
The Bike Intake Technician supports the bike service workflow by receiving and preparing used bicycles for assessment. This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on intake, cleaning, and basic reassembly—not full mechanical repair. The ideal candidate has a working understanding of bicycle parts and assembly, is able to follow standard processes, and can work independently with consistency and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Unbox incoming used bicycles and move them through the intake process
- Clean bicycles to remove dirt, debris, and packaging residue
- Reassemble bicycles to an intake-ready state using established standards
- Stage and organize bikes so they are ready for assessment by service teams
- Follow written and visual work instructions accurately
- Use basic problem-solving skills to overcome common intake and assembly issues
