Dow has exciting opportunities for Instrument Technicians in Plaquemine, LA. This position is to maintain plant instrumentation including preventative maintenance and breakdowns. The job encompasses installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation and test equipment used to control & measure variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, force and chemical composition.
Responsibilities
- Maintain plant instrumentation.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks and complete work request.
- Perform calibrations per proper procedures.
- Installation and checkout of plant instrumentation.
- Assist in start-up of new installations.
- Assist Manufacturing and Engineering or instrument related issues.
- Assure completion of proper documentation.
- Proper use and maintenance of test equipment.
