Overview Our inpatient Palliative Care team is integrated in the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the NP/PA in this role will see patients at Mount Auburn Hospital. Patients are referred from DFCI oncology providers or other inpatient providers for assistance in managing pain and non-pain symptoms, psychosocial stresses, and help in navigating medical-decision making related to a cancer diagnosis. The Palliative (Cancer Care) NP/PA provides inpatient consultation and follow-up including opioid and symptom management for a patient caseload.
