About the Role Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at International Paper is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plant mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the Grand Prairie facility. This includes machinery maintenance, lubrication, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, welding and fabrication, and possible installations. What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, replace, and install mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for all plant equipment; perform lubrication, PMs, troubleshooting, and potential welding/fabrication work.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on conveyors, presses, stackers, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical prints, AC/DC motor diagrams, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, and power transmission.
