About the Role The Immigration Federal Litigation Supervisor will support federal litigation across The Bronx Defenders' Immigration Practice, supervise the federal habeas and petitions for review matters, and help shape holistic defense strategies through systemic advocacy. This is a leadership role with responsibility for mentoring a team of federal litigators and collaborating with the Legal Director and Immigration Practice leadership. What You'll Do
- Direct Client Representation: Represent a reduced number of detained and non-detained clients in federal court (petitions for review, habeas, and other federal litigation) and, when necessary, before immigration agencies.
- Establish docket: Develop a docket of novel and complex immigration litigation and build in-house expertise in emerging federal court strategies.
