About the Role You will be in charge of all topics related to Health, Safety and Environment for the Plant, with a mission to continue to evolve Lear’s culture and leadership in safety and environmental management to serve Lear and its people. What You'll Do
- Act as coordinator and report to the plant manager; define the context of the organization, interested parties, external/internal issues, and perform risk analysis.
- Define and implement the Plant HS&E System and update it according to the Focus: HS&E Manual and Procedures.
- Provide HS&E expertise across the company with training programs and consulting with all departments on health, environmental, safe work practices.
- Establish short- and long-term HS&E goals with management and assist in implementing policies.
- Take direct responsibility for HS&E audits of each department using management supervisory personnel.
