Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Local HR Responsibility & Ownership Responsible for all HR related matters (HR Partnering, HR Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll) in an efficient and effective way for entire GBS Penang (200 FTE). Execute HR processes according to guidelines within the location in conjunction with relevant HR Operations teams in Global Business Services. Implements global people strategy on a local level and executes and maintains local people policies. Drives continuous improvement agenda leveraging on best practices across borders as part of a virtual team. Ensure adherence to national labor laws, regulations, and agreements, while fostering positive relationships with authorities regarding work permits for foreign employees.
