About the Role A full-time Horse Teamster & Working Farm Operator at Sanborn Mills Farm in Loudon, NH. This role requires bringing a trained draft horse team to support agricultural, forestry, and educational programs, and to participate in broader farm operations and public events. What You'll Do
- Feed, water, and groom horses daily; drive draft horses for farm work, logging, wagon and sleigh rides, and special events.
- Maintain tack and draft equipment in safe working order; ensure a safe, enjoyable educational experience for students and visitors.
- Assist with animal chores, garden maintenance, fencing projects, hay production, grounds and seasonal maintenance, and cross-department operations.
- Teach and mentor students, interns, and guests in traditional horse-powered skills. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience training and safely driving draft horses.
