About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team 4 days per week, with hours from 8:15 to 15:45. In this role you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences, including leading whole-class lessons in the absence of a teacher and supporting small groups and individual pupils. What You'll Do
- Deliver lessons to whole classes during planned and unplanned teacher absence
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities for individuals, groups, and classes
- Monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback to support improvement
- Support pupils’ literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum learning
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs, including SEND
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional resilience
- Supervise pupils during breaktimes as required
