About the Role
Based at our Lufton Depot in Yeovil, you will be an HGV Class 2 Driver Loader who drives and assists with loading and collecting household waste and recycling, keeping residents serviced with a high-quality, safe operation. This hands-on role requires switching between driving and loading tasks, with a focus on efficiency and delivering value to your local community. What You'll Do
- Drive Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and Recycling Vehicles as required.
- Lead and assist with loading of household waste and recycling, including multiple daily collections.
- Work as part of a team to complete daily routes efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Deliver a reliable, high-quality service to residents and follow health & safety guidelines.
- Be prepared to regularly get out of the vehicle to assist with loading (up to 150 times or more per day).
