About the Role The Department of Medicine at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time Hematology Oncology Physician. The practice currently includes one physician and an advanced practice provider, and patients are evaluated at lung, breast, GI, and hematology tumor boards. The physician will have opportunities to participate in teaching activities with residents and medical students and will collaborate with radiation oncology, primary care physicians, and surgeons. What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care for adult patients
- Participate in tumor boards and, where appropriate, clinical trials enrollment
- Collaborate with radiation oncology, primary care physicians, surgeons, and hospitalists for admissions and overnight emergencies
- Participate in teaching residents and medical students
- Rotate weekend call within the team
