About the Role The Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver is a key member of the shipping department for United Ag & Turf, a John Deere dealership. The role involves operating trucks to move and position trucks, trailers, and equipment between United Ag & Turf facilities and customers, with occasional deliveries outside local regions. What You'll Do
- Operate United Ag & Turf owned trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
- Deliver, pickup, and relocate commercial, agricultural, and lawn equipment.
- Load and unload equipment; perform routine inspections and refer defects to supervisor.
- Maintain required certifications (DOT physical and CDL) and ensure safety.
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Maintain and protect company property in excellent condition.
- Assist with routine maintenance and keep logs up to date if applicable.
