Job Description
What You Will Be Doing: General Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out routine painting, plastering, basic carpentry, tiling, and minor plumbing or electrical troubleshooting. Preventative Care: Conduct scheduled maintenance checks on guest rooms (e.g., lighting, furniture, fixtures) and public areas to fix issues before guests notice them. Rapid Response: Respond promptly and politely to urgent maintenance requests from guests or other hotel departments. Safety First: Maintain tools, equipment, and workshops in a safe, clean order, ensuring all work complies with workplace health and safety WHS standards.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
- The Fix-It Mindset: Proven experience in a handyperson, trade assistant, or building maintenance role (hospitality or residential experience is a major plus).
