About the Role Handfinisher - Level 3 performs microscopic deburring and hand-finishing of aerospace components to exacting specifications. This role requires high manual dexterity and precise finishing work, interpreting GD&T and design drawings, and operating under safety procedures in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform microscopic deburring under high magnification to finish aerospace components.
- Operate hand tools and equipment for finishing tasks, including sanders, grinders, and polishers.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize finishing processes.
- Maintain work areas and tools in a clean and safe condition.
- Assist in training and mentoring lower-level finishers.
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations and practices.
- Interpret design drawings and GD&T requirements.
