About the Role This BU (Bargaining Unit) Groundskeeper position is responsible for all aspects of maintenance of the University Grounds including Residential Properties. The Groundskeeper operates a variety of mechanized equipment assigned to the department, which includes, but may not be limited to carts, mowers, tractors, trucks, snow plows and vacs to keep campus and residential spaces safe and attractive.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the University grounds, including residential properties.
- Operate department equipment such as carts, mowers, tractors, trucks, snow plows and vacs.
- Follow safety protocols and detailed instructions (oral and written); ensure proper operation and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Support year-round grounds maintenance and seasonal tasks, including winter weather operations as needed.
