About the Role
The Graduate College office is seeking to hire a student worker for the 2026/2027 academic year. This role will assist Graduate College staff with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of large and small scale in-person and remote events, including Grad Student Orientation, Grad Career Week, World Kindness Week, Research and Innovation Week, and Graduate Student Appreciation Week.
What You'll Do
- Assist with event preparation and logistics (room reservations, ordering food/catering, swag through UC branding channels, assembling gift bags, etc.).
- Work at major Graduate College events, as schedules allow (in-person and/or remote).
- Support staff and student designer GA on promotion and marketing (UC postings, digital ads, social media).
- Communicate with student groups and campus organizations.
