About this role
About the Role The G&O Marketer will be responsible for managing the Spain and Portugal ex-store (grains and oilseeds) trading book in coordination with the Head of Grains and Oilseeds. Perform the daily tasks related to cash activities, including but not limited to updating physical positions, entering trade contracts, tracking customer hedges and ensuring compliance with internal systems, following vessel line-ups, and making sure all databases are accurately updated. Carry out daily control/reporting of positions and hedges. Conduct market research and balance sheet analysis. Market intelligence: gather and feed the Grains and Oilseeds’ platforms with local market information (supply, demand, prices, competition, trends). Negotiate and manage trades beyond the conclusion of the business, such as following up on logistics, invoice payments, and credit risk exposure.
