About the Role The General Assistant provides comprehensive customer service in-store and supports merchandising, shelf label accuracy, and housekeeping within a defined area of responsibility. The role contributes to an efficient and safe shopping environment by upholding store layout plans, planograms, and OHSA safety requirements. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service, advise and assist customers with products and queries; help resolve customer complaints.
- Merchandise stock in accordance with store layout and planograms; ensure shelves are stocked and correctly labeled.
- Maintain housekeeping in your area; ensure aisles are clear and customers can shop safely; complete price labeling checks.
- Ensure safety compliance (OHSA) and safe stock handling to prevent injuries; report discrepancies and damaged stock to Store Manager.
