About the Role General assembly and machine operators operate high-speed machine tools to fabricate, assemble and/or manufacture automotive or automotive-related parts. They monitor the manufacturing and assembly processes and record results to ensure quality and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Operate high-speed machine tools and equipment to fabricate, assemble, and/or manufacture automotive parts, monitoring the process and recording results.
- Check designated machines and equipment for problems and perform maintenance tasks to prevent errors in produced materials.
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Check and prepare raw materials for machine use and load materials appropriately.
- Read and decipher blueprints and explain safe machine operation and practices.
