About the Role Syracuse University is seeking Part-Time Game Day Security staff to work on an as-needed basis for Dome events during the 2026-2027 academic season (June 2026 through May 2027). This onsite role supports safety and security for SU Football & Basketball games, major concerts, Monster Jam, and other events at the JMA Dome.
What You'll Do
- Maintain access control by screening guests entering the Stadium using metal detecting equipment and technology.
- Uphold Clear Bag Policy and perform bag checks upon entry in compliance with policy.
- Monitor crowds for prohibited items and ensure compliance with building policies.
- Patrol areas within the stadium (play surfaces, stages, stairs, barricades, GA pits, backstage areas) and assist with disturbances.
