About the Role This is a full-time Maintenance Engineer position at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants based in Charlottesville, Virginia. You’ll maintain and repair hotel mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, finishes, and furniture, respond to requests, and keep equipment and facilities running smoothly. What You'll Do
- Maintain and repair equipment, systems and building components including mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, and wall coverings.
- Lift heavy items; work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; respond to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and ensure safety and compliance where applicable. What We're Looking For
- Prior maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems.
