Forklift Driver
About this role
We are seeking a responsible Forklift Driver to dispatch finished goods and load trucks according to customer requirements and company procedures, reporting to the Team Leader in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch finished goods.
- Load trucks.
- Ensure correct labelling of containers.
- Ensure parts produced are dispatched according to the FIFO system.
- Ensure parts are loaded according to customer requirements.
- Ensure loaded finished goods comply with relevant safety regulations.
- Take weather conditions into account when loading open stillages.
- Ensure the forklift complies with safety and maintenance standards by performing pre-start checks.
Requirements
- NQF Level 4 qualification or Grade 12.
- Valid Forklift Licence.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a forklift driver.
- Logistics experience within an automotive environment.
