Job title: Fleet Manager
The Fleet Manager will oversee company fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation management while minimizing downtime and operating costs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor vehicle inspections, repairs, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Manage vehicle registration, insurance, licensing, and fleet documentation.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Utilize GPS tracking systems to optimize routes and fleet performance.
- Supervise drivers and ensure adherence to operational and safety standards.
- Investigate accidents and coordinate insurance claims when necessary.
