About the Role Here at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK we have an opportunity for an experienced Fire Engineer to play an integral role to ensure the safety of our employees and assets across the UK. The post holder will implement practical and effective fire risk management solutions primarily to preserve life, mitigate environmental impacts, and protect our assets. What You'll Do
- Establish minimum standard Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) in accordance with Regulatory Reform Order 2005 and Fire Prevention Plan guidance.
- Lead on setting internal fire-related standards (technical specifications), policies, procedures and forms, ensuring these are suitable and specific to facility type.
- Investigate fire-related incidents, identify trends and highlight targeted intervention strategies to mitigate future events, ensuring proposals follow SMART criteria.
