About the Role Here at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK we have an opportunity for an experienced Fire Engineer to play an integral role in ensuring the safety of our employees and assets across the UK. You will implement practical fire risk management solutions to preserve life, mitigate environmental impacts, and protect our assets, while ensuring compliance with statutory provisions, permits, licences and best practice. What You'll Do
- Establish minimum standard Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) in accordance with the Regulatory Reform Order 2005 and Fire Prevention Plan guidance.
- Lead on setting internal fire-related standards (technical specifications), policies, procedures and forms, ensuring they are suitable to facility type.
- Investigate fire-related incidents, identifying trends and proposing SMART interventions to mitigate future events.
