About the Role The Diesel Field Service Technician will troubleshoot, maintain, service, and repair pumping and support equipment in a Xylem Service Center, at customer job sites, or via phone. This is a hands-on field role supporting water technology solutions and service excellence. Xylem provides a comprehensive benefits package and paid CDL training where applicable.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing on Godwin fleet equipment between rentals.
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and pump problems; rebuild diesel engines and pump ends.
- Assist in setting up pumping systems on customer job sites and participate in start-up duties, ensuring issues are resolved.
- Conduct initial inspections, diagnose damages, and report findings to the Service Manager.
