About this role
Field Engineer
Principal Accountabilities/Objectives:
- Network & Service Operations
- Install and configure network equipment at customer sites and POPs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wireless and fiber networks.
- Respond to fault tickets raised by the CSOC/NOC, ensuring timely resolution and root cause documentation.
Deployment & Support
- Conduct technical site surveys, feasibility assessments, and customer link activations.
- Provide on-site support for service delivery and equipment troubleshooting.
- Execute hardware replacements, software upgrades, and patch management on deployed devices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of installations, fault resolutions, and maintenance activities.
- Submit timely reports including visit logs, timesheets, and expense reports in line with internal standards.
