About the Role The Federal Work-Study Student will support the daily operations of LIU's Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. This role involves assisting with administrative, clinical, and facilities-related duties to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient learning environment for students and faculty.
What You'll Do
- Assist with laundry collection, washing, and restocking of towels, linens, and other clinical textiles
- Maintain and monitor inventory of supplies and equipment; restock items as needed
- Help organize and prepare materials for labs, classes, and special events
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of lab and classroom spaces
- Check Student refrigerator weekly to discard spoiled food and wipe down interior of microwave ovens
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of supply usage and report low-stock items
