The Farm Shop Manager at the Carvel Research and Education Center (CREC) leads the CREC farm shop operations, overseeing equipment maintenance, safety, and staff supervision to support crop-production research. Under limited supervision from the Farm Manager, this role heads the shop, coordinates maintenance, and partners with researchers across the state on equipment specifications.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic leadership and supervision of equipment operations, mentoring technical staff, coordinating daily maintenance activities, establishing performance standards, and fostering safety and accountability.
- Oversee lifecycle management of agricultural equipment, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, integration of telematics and CMMS to enhance reliability and efficiency.
