Facility Student Coordinator-Rec Center (Student/Work Study)

About the Role The Department of Recreational Services is seeking a Facility Student Coordinator to provide support in the Recreation Center for the fall and winter semesters. Staff will be responsible for assisting with facility management and upkeep. Shifts may be early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends depending on availability. What You'll Do
- Monitoring Rec Center spaces to identify work orders or housekeeping needs
- Keeping inventory of Rec Center equipment and ensuring it is ready for use
- Equipment cleaning including: Equipment frames, Fitness Studio equipment, Laundry needs
- Ensuring AED equipment is functional and first aid kits are stocked
- Understanding facility and work station policies and procedures
- Responding to emergencies and providing first aid when necessary What We're Looking For
- Current UM-Flint student
- Available to work up to 10 hours per week
