About this role
Job Title: Espresso UP Barista Department: Student Activities Terms and Hours: Wednesdays, 6:00pm - 10:00pm Job Category: Student Employment Hourly Wage: Portland Metro Minimum Wage ($16.80) Job Summary: Perform as a trained barista at the EspressoUP weekly coffeehouse programs. Core Duties:
- Making complimentary espresso and specialty drinks.
- Assisting in the set-up, take-down, and thorough clean-up of event equipment.
- Ensuring coffee cart equipment is cleaned and properly maintained.
- Ensuring proper storage and clean-up of coffee cart and supplies.
- Attending all barista training sessions and meetings required by EspressoUP Director.
- Working the Fall/Spring Activities Fair if needed.
- Other relevant duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess exceptional communication skills.
- Must possess outstanding customer service skills.
