About the Role We are seeking an Environmental Services Associate I to provide cleaning and disinfection in patient rooms, clinics, and procedural areas at Indiana University Health. This role supports infection-control standards and patient safety by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, clinics, clinical and procedural areas, and public spaces.
- Follow infection-control protocols and disinfection procedures using approved cleaning tools.
- Conduct hazardous and biohazardous waste removal in compliance with safety regulations.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure cleaning processes support patient safety and care flow.
- Operate light floor-cleaning equipment and lift/carry supplies and equipment up to 35 lbs or more; climb ladders as needed. What We're Looking For
