Job Purpose The Neurosurgeon will be responsible for the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and comprehensive management of disorders affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. This role requires a high level of expertise in performing complex cranial and spinal surgeries, such as tumour resections, cerebrovascular interventions, and spinal fusions. As a senior member of the medical team, the Neurosurgeon will be a leader in advancing the hospital's neurosurgical capabilities. This includes contributing to the development of clinical protocols, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and driving clinical research to improve patient outcomes.
