About this role
Engineering Technician
Location: Austin, TX (onsite) Type: 18-month contract possible hire Pay: $25 to $26 per hour $1500 sign on bonus Bonus payout structure:
- $500 after successful completion of 90 days
- $1,000 after successful completion of 180 days
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Support engineers and scientists in R&D and production environments
- Conduct preventive maintenance and document activities
- Assist in setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals
