About this role
Achev is seeking an Employment Support Specialist to join our Employment Services team in Malton, Mississauga. We help diverse Canadians and newcomers achieve their employment goals through the Integrated Employment Services program, offering career exploration, goal setting, skills assessments, interview preparation, and job readiness support. The role may include delivering components of the IES model and providing coaching to help clients sustain or advance employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide structured, individualized job search support for clients in group and/or one-on-one settings
- Facilitate career exploration, identify interests, abilities, skills, education, and experience related to short- and long-term goals
- Conduct workplace orientation covering employer expectations, rights and responsibilities, and Canadian workplace culture
