Employment Specialist
Location: Bronx, Manhattan, or Queens
Schedule: Full-time. hybrid
Pay Range: $29.23- 32.97/hour
Responsibilities May Include
- Providing vocational counseling, career exploration, and employment readiness support
- Helping participants identify employment goals and develop individualized plans
- Supporting résumé development, interview preparation, and job search strategies
- Providing job coaching and retention support
- Identifying employment, internship, training, and educational opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with employers and community partners
- Staying informed about labor market trends and employer expectations
- Supporting youth engagement, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborating with program staff and other supports involved in each participant’s goals
