Job title: Emergency Room Nurse

Purpose The Emergency Room Nurse, as part of the ICRC Health team, serves in the Emergency Departments of South Governmental Hospitals, promoting and ensuring high quality care that meets national and international standards. S/he represents the ICRC in the hospital Emergency Departments, ensuring smooth and efficient cooperation with hospital teams and securing emergency patients’ access to and continuum of health care. S/he supports, coaches, and builds the capacity of emergency department health staff in their specific and general nursing care, meeting departmental goals and ICRC objectives. S/he contributes to a capacity and training strategy including SOPs, guidelines, rules & regulations and promotes their practical implementation to improve the clinical management of patients and emergency preparedness.
