About the Role The electrical engineer will lead teams and projects to solve moderately complex problems with a broad perspective and identify innovative solutions. The role requires the ability to work independently with guidance as needed and to support department needs. The position reports to the UI DER Unit Manager. What You'll Do
- Solve moderately complex Distributed Generation (DG) problems, including customer generators, photovoltaic systems, and fuel cells.
- Approve, maintain, & understand drawings (schematics, one-line diagrams, site plans).
- Develop & specify equipment, assemble documents & other requirements for assignments of complex level of difficulty using depth & breadth of expertise in own discipline.
- Manage and provide direction for resources outside of the department/company.
