About the Role The Electrical Engineer is the technical lead on Value Engineering cost-reduction redesign projects and supplier transitions within Beckman Coulter Life Sciences' Global Procurement Engineering Team, onsite in Indianapolis. You will develop prototype ideas, validate designs, and transfer them to production while collaborating across Development, Quality, Compliance, Service, and Operations to meet project timelines and deliver cost savings. What You'll Do
- Be the engineering lead for Value Engineering cost reduction redesign projects, including developing prototype ideas, drafting and getting approval on the Design Change Plan, performing verification testing, and transferring the new design to production.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Development, Quality, Compliance, Service, and Operations on the design changes to keep projects on track.
