About this role

About the Role The primary responsibility of the EHS Tech II position is to certify and maintain various engineering controls in laboratory and clinical environments. Controls include Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) and various Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) like fume hoods, paint booths and point exhaust. Additional responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and upgrading occupational health and safety related programs to ensure regulatory and quality compliance. Perform routine surveys, audits, inventories, testing, monitoring, and sample collection. This position may be filled at a lower technical job description (EHS Tech I). What You'll Do

  • Measure and certify the performance of various engineering controls including Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC), fume hoods, paint booths and point exhausts.
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, decontaminations, and repairs of BSC.
