About this role
About the Role The DZ Route Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers in Hamilton, Ontario. You will load/unload cylinders, ensure shipments align with documents, adhere to TDG regulations, and perform pre/post trip inspections to keep our operations safe and efficient. What You'll Do
- Load and unload cylinders; count and record quantities and styles to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents.
- Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
- Follow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasks.
- Complete shipping orders and related paperwork; complete trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor.
