Traffic Coordinator
About this role
The Traffic Coordinator at NFI manages the check-in and check-out process for all incoming trucks and shipments and completes all related documentation. The position supports 10-hour shifts and is full-time, with schedules on Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
- Receive drivers and provide directions for outbound shipments.
- Use the warehouse management system to systematically open/close shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
- Ensure all drivers depart with the appropriate paperwork and that shipping documents are accurate by following standard operating procedures.
- Gather, enter, and maintain data in the warehouse management system related to shipping activities.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies and audit trailer yard inventories by comparing actual trailer inventory to YMS and WMS records.
