About the Role The Distribution Clerk (Inventory and Lens Order) is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of material orders and product selection for laboratory Rx and stock orders. This role supports order processing, inventory accuracy, and smooth operation of the lab and store workflow to ensure quality eyewear delivery and customer service. What You'll Do
- Enter lens and/or frame purchase orders into the computer for electronic transmission to vendors and retrieve products from inventory for Rx/stock processing.
- Access and interpret reports on inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rates, and related metrics.
- Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Apply company promotions, policies, and procedures in carrying out order entry tasks.
- Recheck completed Rx orders for correctness before issuing to the lab for processing.
