Your Role: As Alpaca enters its next phase of global expansion, the People Operations function is transitioning from foundational support to a sophisticated, scalable engine. The Director, People Operations will be the primary architect of this evolution, moving the organization away from fragmented, manual processes toward a cohesive, data-driven ecosystem. This role is centered on operational excellence and infrastructure. The successful candidate will focus on building and optimizing the systems, policies, and workflows that ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-fidelity data across the entire employee lifecycle. By fixing the foundational systems and standardizing core transactions, this leader will reduce administrative overhead and provide the leadership team with the reliable insights necessary to navigate rapid growth.
