About the Role
Director of Advocacy to serve as Ascentria's leading voice in public policy, government relations, and legislative advocacy. This is an opportunity to influence decisions that impact thousands across New England while advancing the mission of a major nonprofit human services organization.
What You'll Do
- Develop and lead Ascentria's advocacy and public policy strategy.
- Build strong relationships with local, state, and federal legislators, regulatory agencies, and community partners.
- Monitor legislation and regulatory changes impacting healthcare, senior care, refugee services, human services, and nonprofit organizations.
- Represent Ascentria before legislative committees, coalitions, conferences, and public forums.
- Draft policy briefs, testimony, comment letters, talking points, and executive communications.
