About the Role Director, Biotech Production to lead manufacturing readiness for startup of Regeneron's new biologics drug substance facility in Saratoga Springs, NY, and to oversee ongoing operations in an on-site leadership capacity. This role connects floor-level performance to global IOPS goals while collaborating with Facilities, Process Development, Quality, and Regulatory teams. What You'll Do
- Lead the manufacturing team through facility start-up, setting operating standards for a brand-new biologics plant.
- Direct manufacturing of recombinant proteins according to approved protocols, regulations, and schedules across 2,000L and 10,000L bioreactor suites.
- Translate corporate objectives into strategy, connecting floor-level performance to global IOPS goals.
- Guide validation activities and equipment commissioning/qualification to ensure operational readiness.
