About the Role ResCare Community Living, a part of Sevita, provides quality services that empower individuals, enhance independence, and help people live well. Sevita’s Direct Support Professional role focuses on helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently at home and in the community, building skills and supporting daily living, personal hygiene, and behavior support when needed. What You'll Do
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with individuals you serve and support them to participate in community activities
- Take initiative to do what’s right for participants and collaborate with supervisors
- Help participants work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
