About the Role Direct Support Professional at Sevita helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently by providing person-centered care and community-based supports. What You'll Do
- Provide direct care and support to participants, helping with daily activities and promoting community participation
- Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs
- Help participants work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Build real, meaningful relationships with those served and follow guidance from supervisors to ensure safety and well-being
- Support participants in engaging in their favorite activities and being part of the community What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
