About the Role ResCare Community Living, part of Sevita, provides person-centered services to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently. As a Direct Support Professional, you will support participants in daily living, community participation, and personal care to help them reach their goals. What You'll Do
- Provide direct care and support with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Help participants pursue developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Build caring, professional relationships and collaborate with supervisors to ensure participant safety and wellbeing.
- Assist participants with behavioral challenges and other complex needs with patience and compassionate communication.
